Sustainability...
The development of Stapleton is grounded on the principles of sustainability. Simply put, the goal is to create a community that not only enhances the quality of life for people today, but also ensures that the needs of future generations can be met. Education is at the core of all of our sustainability initiatives at Stapleton. By educating and sharing information about the benefits of sustainability practices, people are better able to understand how these efforts impact their day-to-day lives at Stapleton and why they are worth continuing.

Redefine Community...
Here, everything is within easy reach, including good schools, shops, restaurants, cafés, entertainment and even offices. You also get miles of trails, acres of parks and real neighborhoods full of homes in all shapes, colors and sizes. It's been called traditional neighborhood development. It's been called new urbanism. Whatever you call it, there's a reason neighborhoods were built this way for hundreds of years: It works. With garages in back, porches in front and sidewalks made for walking, Stapleton is prime commercial real estate and residential real estate coexisting in perfect harmony with shops, dining, and the great outdoors right at your doorstep. The way neighborhoods used to be. The way they should be.

But there are some advantages to creating a new community, too. That's why conservation, preservation, and sustainability were also part of our vision from the beginning. Stapleton is committed to green building. Every new home is Energy Star-certified as of mid-2006. That means lower greenhouse gas emissions (and lower utility bills). Plus, everything's pretty close so you don't have to drive as much. Walking and cycling are the preferred modes of transportation around Stapleton.

Town Centers + Area Shopping + Eating...
East 29th Avenue Town Center: Located next to the 2.5-acre Founders Green, on Stapleton's first Main Street, the East 29th Avenue Town Center has a decidedly neighborhood feel. It's a mixed-use community hub, where rental flats and office suites sit above retail shops and restaurants. This cozy shopping district serves both the everyday needs and impulsive whims of its customers.

Eastbridge Town Center: Stapleton's second town center is currently in design. The Eastbridge Town Center will be built at Havana Street and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. Initially, 30,000 square feet of retail will be built. The Eastbridge Town Center is scheduled to open in mid-2008. Three other town centers are planned as the community continues to grow.

The Shops at Northfield Stapleton: Anchored by Macy's and filled with over 60 diverse retailers, The Shops at Northfield Stapleton offers a pedestrian-friendly, open-air shopping experience.

Quebec Square Regional Retail Center: Built on 740,000 square feet of land, Quebec Square is one of the largest retail centers in Denver. This vast shopping center is home to many of the nation's largest retailers, such as Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and more -- as well as smaller regional shops.
